Appointment types control what patients can book and what availability Savvy Agents can offer. They must match the services, providers, durations, and scheduling rules in your practice management system.
The appointment type is active and still used by the practice.
Duration is correct for the visit.
Valid providers and operatories are associated with the type.
The type is allowed for AI booking or online scheduling if patients should be able to book it.
If a patient asks for a visit but no slots appear, check the appointment type mapping first. Missing provider assignments, closed schedules, unavailable operatories, or disabled online booking can all prevent valid slots from appearing.
Review appointment types whenever you add a provider, change schedule templates, launch a new service, or adjust what Ira is allowed to book.
